Our meeting point and how to get here
Meeting point
We will meet you at the reception of our private parking. After passing the Visitors Center, you drive about 5 km until you see a sign on your right that says "Memories Aicha Camp". We share the parking with Aicha Camp. The parking is on the left side of the main road and is located just before Wadi Rum Village. Ask for your host Ahmad when you arrive. Ahmad or one of his family members will pick you up by jeep.

Route
Arrival by rental car
Location: To navigate to our meeting point you can click on the map above to open Google Maps, or you can search for Wadi Rum Golden Valley.

Directions: After exiting the Desert Highway you enter Wadi Rum Road. This road will lead you all the way to our meeting point. It is a paved road and can be easily accessed by regular rental cars. Along the way there are a few stops to make. The first stop is the police stop on your right, they might ask you for your passport and drivers license. This is a standard procedure, since you are entering a protected area. After this checkpoint you continue the same road, after a few km you will see the Visitors Center on your left. You park you car here and walk to the Visitors Center's office where you pay an entrance fee of 7 JOD (if you have the Jordan Pass you don't need to pay). You go back to your car and continue the same road. After about 5 km you will see a sign on your right that says "Memories Aicha Camp". We share the parking with Aicha Camp. The parking is on the left side of the main road and is located just before Wadi Rum Village. Ask for your host Ahmad when you arrive. You will get a free parking spot where you can safely leave your car. Your guide will then meet you and transport you by jeep.
Arrival by taxi
Most camps have their meeting point in the village, so taxi drivers usually drop the tourists off there. Since we have a private parking, make sure your taxi driver knows the right place to drop you off. It is best to let the driver call us when they enter the Wadi Rum area, so we can explain where he needs to drop you off.
Arrival by bus
If you arrive by bus, please let us know in advance, so we know where to pick you up.
Bus from Petra to Wadi Rum: If you come by bus from Petra, the driver drops you off at the bus stop in Wadi Rum Village, next to the Rest House and village parking. We can pick you up here for free.
Bus from Amman to Wadi Rum: If you come by bus from Amman, the driver drops you off at the bus stop at the Visitors Center. We can pick you up here for 10 JOD
Bus from Aqaba to Wadi Rum: If you come by bus from Aqaba, the driver drops you off at the bus stop at the Visitors Center. We can pick you up here for 10 JOD
Transfer
Good to know: There are no busses or taxi’s available at the Visitors Center to bring you to our meeting point. You can arrange a transfer through us, or hitchhike. We can not pick you up from other camps or hotels!
