The jeep tours we offer are interactive and active tours, focused on discovering the Bedouin culture, nature, and history of the Wadi Rum area. Our aim is to provide you with information in an informal and fun way. Wadi Rum is known for its rich culture and historical significance. The area has inscriptions and petroglyphs dating back thousands of years, giving insights into the lives of ancient civilizations like the Nabateans, who also built Petra. During the jeep tour we will visit several places like Abu Khashaba Canyon and Lawrence Spring where you can see these inscriptions. It is very interesting but also fun to see if you can unravel the cryptic messages, hidden on the mountain walls. Wadi Rum is also famous for a spring called “Lawrence Spring” and the remains of “Lawrences House”, locations that are connected to the adventures of Lawrence of Arabia, who frequently visited Wadi Rum during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire. You can explore these famous sights during the jeep tour and see for yourself why these locations were so important and strategically chosen. During the jeep you will find out why Wadi Rum is called “valley of the moon”, because of its landscape. You will see the many colors of the desert, different structures and changing scenery, the further you go into the desert. Because it looks so much like the moon and Mars, Wadi Rum has been used as a filming location in several movies like "The Martian" (2015), and "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" (2019). Maybe you recognize some of these film scenes! Our tours choose the most popular places in Wadi Rum like Red Sand Dune, Umm Fruth Rock Bridge or Little Bridge, where you can climb or hike up to, to get the best views. But the jeep tours also include more quiet places, like a canyon where you can wander off and truly connect with the nature around you. You will see and learn a lot, but there is enough time to meet locals and have a moment to relax and reflect. We have modern jeeps so you can enjoy the ride in comfort. Our guides will tell you everything they know about the sights. And after the explanation, you are free to discover the place by yourself. You will see amazing rock stone formations, beautiful canyons, and a lot of Bedouins offering you tea. We recommend the full day jeep tour, so you can see all the highlights, and end the day at a sunset viewpoint, overlooking the golden Wadi Rum valley.

Camel ride
Just like the Bedouins, camels have been living in the desert for centuries. We rely on them for transportation, but they are also a big part of our culture. Our families still have camel herds, living in the desert, roaming around, looking for food and drinking water from the spring. They are strong and reliable but also a lot of fun. We love to share this part of our culture with our tourists. A camel ride is a nice way to enjoy the desert in a more relaxed pace than with the jeep. We offer short rides or camel trekking for 1 or multiple days, combined with an overnight in the camp or cave (sleeping outside in the desert).
